Very attractive
This bag is a great size. It holds a lot, and can be carried on. It has a very stylish look, and rolls well. The proof will be in how long it lasts. I hope it's as durable as it is practical.
Hartmann Stratum
I purchased a Hartmann Stratum about 10 years ago and loved it. It was my favorite piece of luggage and always used it as my carry-on and never let it get tossed around in the check-in luggage. I lost it in a recent vacation theft and had it replaced as part of my insurance settlement. I was somewhat disappointed with the new bag as Hartmann seems to have cheapened the bag with lighter weight materials and it just doesn't have the feel of quality that my old one had.
I haven't had the opportunity to use the new one yet, but intend to try it out soon. I guess that will be the real test. My old Hartmann made many faithful trips across the US and to my beach condo in Mexico and was still like new. I'm hopping my new one performs as well.
