too thick
11 inch depth. (you are allowed 9 inches - you can cheat and go to 10 inches sometimes) I don't get it. It doesn't fit the metal sizer at the airport gates. Is this a carry on? My items also had a bit of a discoloration on the leather patch - returned it. The inside is as nice as any other good carry on. 30 years of rolling suitcase innovation and this? Skip this one. I'm just not getting what's so special about Hartmann on this item.
