Well-constructed, some nice features, a bit bigger than claimed

I'm getting the most important information out up front, as the primary reason one buys a carry-on this small is to meet the increasingly-restrictive qualifications of international airlines. The official dimensions of this bag have it as 20 inches long, but it is really 21.25 to the handle strap (as specified by the airlines), and this is not with the strap extended. The height is closer to 7.5 inches, and it could be higher depending on how much you stuff in the bag. The weight is pretty good for a bag this size, important as many airlines restrict carry-ons to as little as 12 pounds!
Be aware that Victorinox has an almost identical version of this bag with "WT" in the model name. The difference is that the WT has a fold-out garment carrier in the lid and it weighs a bit more. Several sites where I...

Nice suitcase with some flaws
I ordered this suitcase when my previous carry-on bag started to fall apart. The suitcase is nice - lightweight, study wheels, good handle. It has a lifetime warranty against carrier damage (see warranty details). Another positive aspect - it is not made in China.
However, there are three major and one minor issue that should be considered. I wish I had known these prior to purchase, which would have made me reconsider this choice.
The first issue, is that it is not expandable. Most suitcases nowadays have a zipper than can be used to expand the height of the suitcase. Alas - no such luck with this one.
The second issue, related to the first, is that this suitcase is pretty small in terms of depth. While the width and height are fine for a carry-on, the depth is smaller than most other similar suitcases I have seen. Combined with the first issue, this is a major problem.
